I can not find anyone (among my Lacerte friends) who did not pull the plug in late February.
You may not get a meaningful reply from any user. Why not ask Lacerte for an update - they are soooooo frank and honest in their replies this year!

I am negotiating a renewal of the '07 program with Chip Goodman, & the negotiation includes the SDAE.

So, it is safe to assume that SDAE will be there for '07.

In my travels to the many tax seminars this summer, the buzz word is the scan and fill feature. And alot of other tax software vendors are including it: Drake, ATX & Thomson; this leads me to believe that this is the wave of the future.

Hopefully Lacerte will improve on the flaws that I've heard about SDAE for the '07 program, but with other major competitors plus 1040 Scan putting their products out, they will have no choice but to improve it if they want to remain competitive.
