I am supprised at Intuit I paid almost $1,500 for this scanner and you send it with "junk software that expired in 7 days" It took me that long to set up this dog!! How about supplying us with something more professional. The dog machine is supposed to do one thing and one thing only and it don't do it.This is the worst I have ever seen from Intuit and Mr. Lacerte would roll over in his grave!!Hope you guys made a nice profit selling us this hunk of junk.

I don't know what scanner you bought from them if you paid $1500 or what software you are talking about. But I bought the Fujitsu 5120C (a little over $800) and I had no trouble setting it up and it scans great. It came with the full version of Adobe Acrobat 7.0 plus the full version of some other scanning software. There was some software that only had a demo version (don't remember what it was) that expired in 30 days, but I never used it.

The scanner I have been very satisfied with. However, the Source Document program has been a big disappointment. It's a great idea, but not really ready.
