Reports - Balance sheet is bringing forward account balances for 2 checking accounts that have zero balance in TB. Produces out of balance balance sheet. Accts are marked inactive but still come forward producing worthless BS

Try doing a Verify and Rebuild (File, Utilities). Sounds like there is an error that needs cleaning out. You may need to "rebuild" more than once.
