OK, thanks for all the help.

Just to clarify I am the owner and just realized that my main computer guru was the administrator and had access to files that I always thought were password protected. So much for all my secret information that I didn't what her to know. ( you know how much I lost in the market, etc.)

So, my return in done, finally today.... if I back it up to a thumb drive..... will I be able to restore anything next year so the carryforwards, K-1 info, kids, addresses, bank information will be there??

Back it up to the Thumb or Flash Drive and delete it from the main Drive and then on your desktop at Home save a copy of it. All the data will be there after you save it. To be sure you saved it right open it from the Thumb Drive or Flash Drive before you delete it from the hard drive at work

I salute all our current Military and our Veterans.
