You will need two licenses if you have two people accessing one QuickBooks company at the same time - on two separate computers.
Having said that - the QuickBooks data file (.qbw) will reside on only one computer.; you can also have the data on a separate server that doesn't have the QuickBooks program installed only the Data Manager program.
The other computer(s) will read / and send the data across the network. Its important to make sure everything is set up correctly on both computers in order for this to work correctly. You may want to get the services of an Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor that has had experience setting up a multi-user system for QuickBooks. If set up properly it works like a charm!
