Is TimeTracker a good application and is it good value (my cost would be $25/month)?

Hi.  It depends on the complexity of the time involved-- if you need to bill time and have many items involved (different services at different rates), it could be.  If your needs are simpler but you do need to track and bill time, the free time sheets built into QuickBooks will work just fine  If you have travelers, they can e-mail you their time sheets weekly and you can enter them into QuickBooks' time sheets.

Karen, thanks for the info. Is there a way to export the timesheet form to excel for easy entry by employees then import back into QB?  If not, what do remote users use to enter timesheets?

Hi again, KWebb88.

I was suggesting that if there is not too much to enter for each pay (too many different items/jobs) that you would enter the time into QB manually.  You would not be importing anything.

I use an Excel spreadsheet for employees to enter their time.  If you don't feel you can create a time sheet yourself, then you can download one.  Then give your remote users a blank time sheet for them to enter their time each week and e-mail to you.  To enter this time yourself into QuickBooks, go to the Employee menu, and select Enter Time, then select Use Weekly Time Sheet.

Good luck!
