I have 2009 premier additions. How do I only show 2009 transactions. My check register is showing 2006-2008 info which i don't need. How do I get check register to only show 2009 transactions
Your checking account will show everything that has ever happened. It a balance sheet account that shows everything since the day you started. You don't want only current activity. You can run a transaction detail by account selecting your checking account with 2009 dates. You see in report form all the 2009 activity.
But the nature of the beast as an asset shows all the activity.
