In accordance with IRS Publication 946, verify the following items are true for the asset as setup in EasyACCT:
- For qualified property purchased in 2009 the Asset Type must be R for real property.
- On the Enter/Update Assets screen, verify the "Golf Opportunity Zone Asset" box is checked.
- In the SDA column, select either 30% or 50%
If any of the above items were changed, click Calculate Current for the asset to get the Depreciation Allowance to calculate. Note that EasyACCT does not support the calculation of the allowance for other asset types outlined in the publication (such as Liberty Zone, Biomass, Reuse and Recycle, etc.) at this time.
