Hiring & benefits

I would like to provide my  Health Care for my employees.  The main problem is that the playing field is not even.  Only medium and large companies can compete.  Small companies and self employed gamble on no insurance and a prayer.  This is cheap is you have no pre-existing conditions and they get a good deal.

However, a child with diabetes who ages out of her parents plan is now uninsurable.  Policies just do not coverage people for anything.

Let our free market work with a caveat---everyone even the healthy have to buy insurance.  Special programs to pay for the poor and gaps in elder care

KISS principle applies.  Keep it simple stupid. Cover everyone!!!!  It is doable.

Of course, the playing field is not even. Each state has laws that force the insurance companies to offer certain types of coverage. Eliminating the restrictions that disallow the purchase of insurance across state lines would help increase the availability and reduce the costs.

Medicare has a requirement that says that they must be the lowest paid provider.  Removing this restriction would allow greater price competition and lower costs of medical care.

All governments restrict the entry into the medical services market place via licensing and other roadblocks. If there were more levels of services that were provided by technicians rather than physicians this would make it more efficient and reduce costs.

The FDA restricts entry into the market of new drugs and procedures. Eliminating this regulatory agency would help the smaller drug companies to become more competitive and thus reduce the cost of pharmaceuticals and apparatuses.

The FDA  makes it more difficult for alternative  medical care providers to enter the market. An example: Their desire to call producers of cherries drug dealers, if they advertise the health benefits of eating them.

I believe in the free market and the politicians don't. Less government will improve our economy and reduce the cost of medical care. This is my KISS prescription for resolving the government created problem.

Solving the problem can be done by identifying its root cause.. Dealing with the symptons will never resolve the issue.Wet streets do not cause rain.

The root cause of the problem is government created. Asking the politicians for their solution is like asking the wolf to guard the hen house.

Freedom works for the benefit of mankind. Government is the major roadblock towards freedom. Eliminating the core is the only logical way  to resolve it. Our bungling egotistical politicians are meglamaniacs that need to be controlled, before they totally destroy the world's greatest experiment in individual liberty.
