Did you go into QuickBooks, File>Open or Restore>Restore a back up and select the file? What release do you each have -- hit the F2 key to see. If he's installed the latest release R9, then you will need to do that before you can open the file. Also, you can go to www.quickbooks.com/support to search for that error code or google it.








If the COO has the latest release (R9), you need it too. Check which release you have by hitting the F2 key in QuickBooks.
