"From Account" when making a deposit
Trying to record a deposit for the first time, its an online sale. For "received from" - I selected "online sales", but what should the "from account" be?

Received from is the customer, or you can leave it blank if you're not tracking by customer (and if you are, Receive Payments is a better way to go.) From account means the income account you want to post to -- which would be Online Sales, if that's your income account.

To MoniqueC - I think a Sales Receipt is a better transaction form if you're tracking customers for online sales, a Receive Payments transaction is only for an existing invoice, and that wouldn't exist for online sales.
