Using QB 2010 with client's account copy of QB 2008 data?

Is it possible to use client's data from quickbooks 2008 (accountant copy) with QB 2010 Accountant Edition?

You can only use it for 2009 & 2010 & not 2008.

You can open a file from the client in 2008, but you will not be able to send any changes back to them.  The Accountant's Copy only has 1 year of backwards compatibility (you could use Premier Accountant 2009 for their 2008 file).

You could log into their file remotely and help them.  With QB Premier Accountant 2010 you get 12 months of WebEx Free.  Go to Accountant>Remote Access to get started.  Then, if you log into their file, you're using their QB 2008 and working in the live data file.
