Extension Problem
Problem...I prepared an extension for my client both IRS and NYS and wish to file electronically..when I ran the return errors on the NY it indicated there was a problem on the federal extension (I had not put a date in or something trivial like that) and it couldn't electronically file the NYS extension..okay went back to the Federal extension, fixed it, no error messages, ready to efile, went back to NY and that message still flags...I can't get rid of it no matter what I do...I erased the form 370, re did it and it still gives the message there was an error on the federal extension and I can't file the NYS extension.Why is this happening..what is wrong with the program or is this just more sloppy programming?
