/quickbooks unable to create backup file.
Help - I can't create a backup of my company file. I
have been creating backups for my company for
months. Now for the last 2 weeks I can't. Is it my Vista
program or is it Quickbooks 2009?

This error can occur when the company file name exceeds 65 characters in length.
To resolve, reduce the Company file name (.QBW), in Windows, to under 65 characters total.
With the Company file closed, browse to the location of your data file. Right-click on the .QBW file and choose rename. Click Yes to the message: Are you sure you want to rename the read only file [your file name]?
You can also try schedule backup without changing the file name.
If that did not work try verify before backup (using the File > Utilities > Verify Data menu)
