1040 efile Reject Code 0510

This error code only specifies the taxpayer or spouse SSN has been used on someone else's return. This error does not specify the exact location of the error. In my case the client's second child had been claimed on the child's return. Prior years Proseries provided the exact location of the error. I unfortunately lost over an hours time, first with the IRS and then with Intuit Tech support to determine Intuit is not passing the information as to the exact location of the error.
