If you have had problems with .NET 2.0 in the 2007 tax filing season, you have probably gone through either repairing or reinstallation of either or both .NET 2.0 and the entitlement client. You have also received numerous advices, which are not consistent within the technical assistance call ins too.I uninstalled starting with the highest to the lowest: .NET 3.2, 3.1, 2.0, 2.2 and 2.0 with a cold boot after each uninstall.Then installed .NET 3.5 while rolls all of the aforementioned into one package.No problems since the above was completed and after almost 200 tax returns we can conclude that the advice Robin gave is valid and certainly worth sharing.Our download and install of .NET 3.5 took about fourty minutes.
