Amending returns

I'm trying to amend a return in ProSeries Basic and I don't know where to begin. The 'Help' function is worthless in this respect. I've successfully amended returns on other software, but I can't seem to get it done here. I know it must be a simple procedure, but I can't figure it out. Thanks for the help.

To do an amended return, press the F6 key on your keyboard and type the letter X. This is the hotkey that will highlight the 1040X form. Double-click to open the form and enter the year you are amending. If you are amending the 2007 return, simply make any corrections in the rest of the return like adjusting wages, changing the filing status, etc. This will then show the Net Change in column B of the 1040X and show the correct amount in column C. For more help on how to amend the return, use the F1 key when you are on the 1040X form.

Thanks for the assist! That was far more helpful than the 'help' function.
