Error Building Cache 557

I keep receiving an error message when Proseries 2007 starts up. The program starts up normally with the window that says one moment please and then after a moment, promptly crashes delivering to me the error message: Error Building Cache 557.A quick search on the support page indicates a reinstall easily solves the problem. After many reinstallations, I disagree.Has anybody else come up with this issue and can provide a fix?Btw, I am running Proseries on a 64-bit Vista Business workstation. All the files are stored on a server.

Uninstall ProSeries. Rename the Prowin07 folder and then reinstall the program.

557 Indicates "Could not open shared form data file". What I would suggest is that you have proper permissions to the network share, as well as NTFS permissions set on the shared folder (on the server machine).

In addition, go into the Prowin07/32bit folder on your local hard drive and open the Prowin07.ini file. Look for the following lines:

SharedFormPath=
CommonFilesPath=

Make sure these are pointing to the correct mapped drive and location. They should be the same with the exception of SHRFRM07 on the end of SharedFormPath.

Thanks for the help

Reinstalling proseries afer renaming the file prowin folder was the fix. I should have read the intiut solution closer.

I did check the two fields in the .ini file that were mentioned earlier, after reinstalling, just to make sure they had the right paths. they did
