Defining and Setting Up Vendors
Can anyone give me an overview of what makes up a vendor? At the moment, I am considering the CPA and office supply company as vendors. But I am somewhat confused on the tax terms, etc.

Dear Susan, Unless your company uses contractors who are paid to individuals names all of your vendors (office supplies, CPA, etc) will all be "just vendors" in QBs. All you really to fill out when setting a vendor is:
Vendor Name/Vendor Address
The rest of the blanks are not necessary in the normal operation of keeping good records in QB's
I will be happy to answer any question you have on QBs

Vendors are pretty much anyone you pay money to for a business: Landlords, utility companies, gas stations, office supply stores, Depts of revenue for tax payments, sub contractors, suppliers, and any one else you pay money.
