Do you all use the Forms Bar? It used to be customizable and I could set it to the forms I commonly use. The Form In Use choice is not a good answer because on any tax return of any complexity there are way too many forms and schedules to sort through. If only the Schedules and Forms were highlighted or bold it would be a little easier. Any suggestions?
My only suggestion is to beg Proseries to bring back the customize forms bar. Taking it away was the WORST THING THEY EVER DID. It has slowed down our work more than anyone could imagine. I wish I could somehow know just how many minutes a day it cost this office even after not having it last year. They gave us something great and snatched it away. To make it worse they allowed us to vote on what changes we needed and listed that as one of the improvements. I cast every vote I had to this subject. If it were outvoted obviously most hadnt given it a chance. I will be looking for something else by May 1. Not that they care. I wish there were advice to make the pitiful excuse for forms bar simplicity better to use. I wish they would go back to the way it was before we could customize because it was better than this mess. Looks like congress designed it. You can bet the moron who took customizeable away never used the software. Off my soapbox I go, and back to work.
