Form 1116 Line 17 calculation error

I am currently in an email argument with Proseries technical /development staff regarding what I perceive as a calculation error in Form 1116, Line 17. If there is anyone out there that is reasonably familiar with Form 1116, and in particular the adjustments that are sometimes made to Line 17 regarding qual-divs and cap-gains (so-called "rate reduction adjustments"), I would like to send you a simple tax return file that attempts to demonstrate the calculation error to see whether you agree with me. I think it takes more than one complaint to get them to listen. Thanks to all.

Why don't you email me at daniel.wolf@marltoncpa.com and I will see what I can do by looking at your file.

I am having difficulty getting line 17 (tax year 2007) to include the qual-divs and cap-gains. It wants to report line 41 income alone, which results in a foreign credit carryover. Did you resolve this error? Any feedback would be appreciated.
