Mortgage interest on business use of home

If we use the mortgage interest and real estate taxes on a Sch. A we can't use it again on the business use of home form, correct?

Yes but it is usually better to take it on the 8829 in order to bring down the Self-Employment taxes associated with Sked C.

Latest post

Putting it on 8829 lets the program carry the balance to Sch A. If you put it also on Sch A you are counting it twice.
