Installing DMS update

Each time there is an update to DMS, it takes numerous tries before it will install. I keep seeing messages that DMS needs to be closed before the installation can continue. However, the update appears to have closed the program. Eventually, the update installs but it takes repeated retries for this to happen.Am I the only one with this issue and if so, any ideas as to what is causing it.
