Restoring Backups

I am using a Proseries DMS 2005. I need to restore a Lacerte DMS 2005 backup into Proseries DMS 2005.Restoring process dont give me any errors. But after I link my database to the location where I have restored it it gives me an error saying" Location does not contain any usable DMS database"Kindly assist.

Did you try repairing the database? In DMS, go to Tools, Database and click on Repair. That may fix your problem.

Can we uninstall Proseries DMS as I need to install it on another location.

Kindly assist.
