Congratulations on becoming a ProAdvisor--that is the first step to growing your business! Network, network, network! Tell everyone you know that you would like referrals. Let them know what services you offer and what type of clients you would like to obtain. Try to build referral relationships with bankers, attorneys, insurance agents and other accountants in your area. There are a lot of things you can do, but referrals are the best, most effective method. It does take time though! Volunteer to be treasurer for non-profit orgs (PTA, Scouts, Soccer Club, Home Owner's Assoc, etc). You can get some experience and possible referrals. There are a lot of things you can do--these are just a few ideas to get your started!

Traci I also recommend the NACPB as well there is a lot of free training for members and lots of materials that can assist you with your practice -

I would also recommend joining your local Chamber of Commerce as well it's a great place to network.

Also check out meetup.com it's great for finding additional network groups.

Lastly I would also recommend Michelle's books Successful QuickBooks Consulting - I wish I would have read it when I first started it would have saved me some time and money!
