Adding Web Site Information

I have searched the forums and haven't seen this question. I have created a web site. I would like to have a page with Tips for my clients. Are there any restrictions on copying some of the great information found on the QuickBooks site, be it the forums, help, newsletters etc. If it is acceptable, should it have a footnote recognizing from where it came?
Why not provide a link to Intuit's website where the info is located?

Anything published on a website has a copyright protection. You must have permission (in writing) to use the text, even if you cite the original source. Also, some of the tips you see on the QB web pages are used, with written permission, by QB from other sites, so you'd have two permissions to get. There are some good information sites you can link to in your web site instead of publishing their tips - and some newsletters you could forward to clients and suggest they sign up for a subscription - the www.cpa911.com site and its newsletter is a good example.
