DMS slow in recognizing pages
Lacerte : 2008Why is DMS so SLOW in recognizing pages this year? I have to wait a long time for it to catch up with all the scanned pages.

Carancpa,
What scan settings are you using? After DMS receives the data, it creates a file with that scan's information in your temp directory. If you have above-average hard drive activity going on, it may take some time, or if you're scanning at 300dpi, 24-bit color, it may also take a while.

Also, be sure your settings are "Twain" vs "Tiff". Tiff takes substantially longer and uses WAY more disc space-e.g about 8.01MB per 1099!
