ISW frustration

I'm about to bail on QB, I don't care how many clients are using it. My computers are evidently useless, as ISW can't work on Office 2007 Standard, and now QB Tech Help tells me it won't work on Office 2003 either. Can anyone actually use ISW?

Anyone with Office 2007 Pro can, as plainly indicated in the promo material and the license. Here http://ow.ly/zNbS is a cheap way to get this Pro and much more.

ISW should be able to work on all versions of Excel 2007.  What message or problem are you getting when you try to launch ISW?  Are you using QB 2009 & ISW 2009 or QB 2010 and ISW 2010?  You also need a separate ISW license for each user.  Did you search for the error message/problem at www.quickbooks.com/support   I had a problem last year and I had to delete the iswruntime.dat file and let it re-create itself and then it worked fine.
