Any problems with software and EIC?

Has anyone had any problems with Proseries calculating EIC incorrectly. I've had the IRS rule that EIC was $3k less than what I've calculated on the return. Proseries reviewed the return and states they don't see any errors in the software, yet the IRS won't budge either. IRS will not use business loss from a partnership from the general partner who participated materially as a factor in calculating Earned Income. Please let me know if anyone has any answers.

Are they questioning your calculation of AGI used to determine EIC ? I just looked it up on the IRS website and all references say to use "net earnings" I think the question centers around how to calculate that net. Could you share a little more information?

More Information is needed as to how you calculated AGI as this impacts the correct EIC
