Change workstation number in Lacerte

Is there a way to change the "workstation" number in Lacerte. I have 2 computers with different numbers and when I synchronize them my user options keep changing. If the workstations were the same, it would solve this problem.

To change the workstation number for the 2009 program, first close the program and edit the "machine name" in the LacerteHostname.ini file by adding an "x" to the end of the machine name. This file is located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Lacerte – XP
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Lacerte – Vista and Windows 7
This will increase machine Id by one. If you the machine ID was 001 before, it will now be 002.
For 2008 and prior programs, edit the machine name in the Lacerte.ini file located in C:\windows.
