Changed LOC from bank to other liability acct... now need to change entry.

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2007

Help! Received advice a few months back to change my LOC account from a bank account to an "other liability" account. I need to change the account in a transaction I did when it was still a bank account. QB won't let me unless it is a bank acct.

It is because the transaction type is a check, which is used in bank accounts not liability accounts. If you need to change the entry, just delete the transaction and recreate it.
