Business Expenses Paid For By Owner- How to Book

US QuickBooks Premier : 2009: Accountant

How would I book business expenses that were paid for by the owner by himself in order to take the deduction for tax purposes?  The entity is an S. Corp. The owner does not want re-imbursement. Could I just book the expense against equity?

Create a journal entry where you debit the expense and credit dividend. If they have not taken a dividend this year, then the tax preparer will reclass it as they see fit.
