Office in the Off-Season

Okay, I am contemplating opening an office for this coming tax season. But I guess my problem is, what to do with the office space during off-season???

I also do write-up work but mainly do that remotely (by choice) so I work from home & for that portion of my business, prefer to continue that way.

Insight & comments welcome. Thanks!

There are always opportunities to share office space with other professionals like lawyers etc. You can also pick up a 3 month lease verses a 12+ month lease. The only draw back is prime/visible locations require lease terms longer that 3 month. But if you already have your tax client base you don't really need to be in a prime/visible location.

Update, I will most likely go with a virtual office option and rent space as needed.

AOKCPA, Thanks for your comment... I appreciate your input.
