Can you merge two files in the DMS? Example we scanned a clients tax info and then we have to scan additional information. How do you handle this situation so that you have only one file

i do not have a solution within dms, however there is a "free" product from pdf995 that will combine multiple pdf files into 1 pdf file. just search for pdf995 on the internet. After combining the files, simply import the new combined file into dms. Instead of combining 2 files, we normally just add another pdf file to the "source documents sub-folder" in the clients dms folder. this is much quicker in our office and works just as well. sometimes we just name the new file "additional info received from client."

We have heard questions surrounding appending a PDF in both Adobe and Document Management System. Attached is a short video on how to append a PDF in Document Management System. The process is somewhat similar in Adobe.
