I purchased a copy of Intuits Credit Card Processing Kit. During installation it alerted me that it is designed only for first- time Quickbooks users. How can I process credit cards through Quickbooks with an existing company?
If you have a merchant account already setup you will have to activate the account via the software. Click on Receive Payment, click on process credit card located under the payment method. (Prompt appears) QuickBooks Merchant Service: with 3 options displayed click on Activate an Existing Merchant Account. (Login screen) enter your email address (use email that you applied for the account with) if all is correct you will get a prompt (Account has been activated).
