You only receive a 1099-Misc if you have worked for other businesses as an independent contractor. Your bank can use your last year's tax filing to see you were self-employed. Otherwise, you won't start receiving 1099s until late January 2010 for payments made to you in 2009, so the bank will have to wait or accept other paperwork from you. Perhaps you can show them your customer invoices and letters from your customers to substantiate the services you provide and the income you expect.
