Hi Amsjoe,

Could you clarify what you are trying to do?  Are you referring to groups of customers that share the same custom information?  Or perhaps changing a customer to a vendor?

Thanks,

Sadie

Thanks Sadie... I would like to switch a contact from "Customer" to "Unassigned".  I am using "Unassigned" because you do not have a "Prospect" group in your system.  I would much rather put my Prospects in a group called "Prospects" so that I can FLIP them to my "Customer" group once they buy for the first time and actually become a Customer.  So I guess this is becoming a 2-part question and a suggestion if this is not a possibility yet.  Thank you for your quick response.  Joe

Hi Amsjoe,

It sounds like you're interested in 2 features:

  • The ability to track Prospects as a separate "role" from Customers
  • The ability to change Prospects to Customers, when you've converted them to paying customer

Did I get those right?  These are both great feature requests!  Our team is working hard to incorporate customer feedback - we keep the Customer Manager Blog and the Features page of our website up-to-date with upcoming features.  Keep your eyes peeled.

Thanks,
Sadie
