bad debt write offs
when i do a cash report to see actual income, it includes bad debt write offs - what did i do wrong?

Hi ck137,
If you write off the AR by using a discount (to a bad debt expense account) at the receive payment window, the AR will be marked as paid (cash received). A paid invoice appears as revenue on a cash report.
So, on a cash report, to offset this, it looks like the bad debt expense would appear in order to offset the paid invoice.
