Is it hard starting a new catering business?

I'm new to the south even tho I've been here 6 years I was layoff from my job in 2008, found it difficult to find another one. so my husband and I decide to back into cooking and catering because everyone loves to eat. Is it hard starting a new job?

It is very easy to set up that type of business on Quickbooks.  I have been using QB's for over 13 years and I can help you each step of the way.  It is simple to set up, it's easy to maintain on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. and then it will be so easy to do your budgeting and do our year end taxes when you need to.  You can keep up with your inventory, your sales taxes every month and your income taxes will be a breaze.

Hello! The first consideration is are you and your husband ready to dedicate your time and money for the new business? Do you have current clients at the moment that you provide services for? Have you researched similar businesses in the area to see if the market is saturated? If you enjoy and are passionate about catering and cooking then that will be the easy part. The difficult part is developing a plan for startup and getting clients. Good luck! Mel Banks
