Purchase Order numbering logic. Previous doesn't bring up POs in correct order

I have recently started using QuickBooks purchase order features. However, when I open up the PO screen the next available PO is ready t obe entered. But when I navigate through the records the POs aren't in the correct order. Some of my recently added POs are at the beginning of the PO module. Any features that allow you to change the sort order?

The solution

PO numbers when searching are by date entered and then I think alphabetically by vendor name. Yes, it is hard to use the back button to find a specific PO number because they are not in PO number sequence. What you can do is use the Ctrl + f key and then set it for po numbers and enter the PO number you are looking for. If the PO is still open I pull up the report of open PO's and double click on the PO to bring me directly to the PO. Mary
