Two Monitor set-up for viewing DMS

Are there directions for setting up two monitors on each workstation; 1 for inputting current information and 2 for viewing current year scanned information or a copy of last years tax return?

This document might help: http://www.lacertesoftware.com... - there are several online resources linked near the end that might help as well. You can also contact me here or offline - I use 3 currently and promote the use of 4!

I have been using two monitors on my main station. I like the idea of going to four. I also have a back up station in another box. I tried the virtual PC but that did not work well. Maybe wrong set up, but with the back up station I can have an entity up on that and the related 1040, or if I have two clients who are in a joint venture, that each report a portion of the attributes I can see one while working on the other.

I use mirror setup on my main station so the client can watch me work, and side by side on the backup.

I am also planning to go to 24" monitors on main station next week for both. I would probably stick with the 19' on other two if I go to 4 monitors on main station. Any further thougts on settup.

I also have a Fujitsu Scanner FI-5120C at my desk, and another one for others to do scanning in the accounting office.

I have had some problems with my DMS locking up and having to reboot. I don't know if the problem is with my computer, or the program.

I am doing a complete reconfig of my setup over the next week or two. Just talked to my IT guy and he said going to the fourth monitor would problably not be cost effective.

Good luck all and lets all move to the top!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
