On Form 1040X the word "Draft" is printed (both pages of the form). What is the reason for this. I have updated the program, so I have the most recent updates. If this is a non-approved version of the form, when will the form be approved?
November 1 seems to be REALLY late in the year for having a non-approved version of the form.
Your updates may not have installed. Try installing from the ProSeries website.
I tried your suggestion, but there was NO change. "Draft" still printed on the form. Any more suggestions?

go to myproseries.com then login and do the updates and see if that makes a differance
Does NOT seem to help. I have been searching for an answer online as well as a priority (or case) number for a phone call to tech support, but can not seem to get that either. I guess I'll have to wait on the phone.
Are you "updating" from the web or downloading the entire software? If the updating installation is not working(it did NOT work in March for me) but downloading the entire 1040 program DID work.

Yes, I called intuit and uninstalled and reinstalled the program from their website. The reinstall contained all of the updates (which were not installing from the program update mode). After that the problem was resolved. Thanks for your help!
