Hi Jim,

Conducting an effective consultation with a prospective client is about listening to the client and providing a solution to their problem. Take some time to consider the type of consultation you will provide. Once you have determined this you need to write a list of questions you need answered in order to highlight your expertise and convert them to a client. 

Regardless if they sign on the dotted line after your consultation you need to gather contact information from them and take detailed notes.  Design your form to record Name, Address, Telephone and to take notes for your questions.
