POS Issues since Update
HUGE Issues!
I have a client that just upgraded to QBFS2009 and POS 8.0. Ever since they are running into all kinds of issues.
The first is that occasionally there is some sort of hiccup happening and once it does ever sales receipt has a "problem" and it says the it wasn't processed during the exchange b/c the payment was unbalanced. I have read about this issue on here that go back a while and apparently the issue was fixed but obviously not with my client. When I drill down into the receipt, of course the payment is balance with the total of the sales receipt. The receipt does not have split payments, decimals in the discounts or other things that have led to this problem for other users in the forum in the past. This happens up to 150 transactions per day!! When I called tech support the first time they said this is "impossible" and when I tried again today they told me I'll just have to hand enter the transaction until a new update is released! It seems like POS will work fine for a few days and then it messes up again...at least once a week!
Whenever it happens, it also seems to reset the preferences back to the default..Specifically the preference to enter the receiving voucher billing information in Quickbooks rather than in POS.
Anyone else having these issues!?!?
