Minnesota minimum wage for servers & bartenders?

Does anyone know for sure what minimum wage is in Minnesota for waitress's and bartenders. Since the new federal wage went into affect it looks like Minnesota can pay those employees below minimum wage as long as their tips make up the difference.

Seems to me I saw an answer to this somewhere else in the community. I think there was a dollar value attached, something like $2-3 and yes, tips do have to make up the difference. I'm in MN but I can't guaranteed the accuracy of that answer.
