Liability Check

when I am writing a custom liability check under pay scheduled liabilities, the check does not pop up, it disappears when I press create.  Also I do not think the numbers are correct; social security and Medicare state 0 for their total. please help

I have seen this before, but I am not sure why it happens. First be sure that on the "Pay Liabilities" screen you have the "Review Liability Checks...;" box check marked. That is in the upper right corner.
That should bring the check up for review and editing. If it does not...

You can find the check that was created by going to your check register, finding the "Liab Chk" and double clicking to edit it. You can delete it if you want to start over by going to "Edit">"Delete Liability Check".
