ProSeriesNYS IT-205A line 12 (Income %) .. I have asked Pro-Series each year for many years why they leave this calculation to the user? No answer! I use a spread sheet to do these for all the returns I do. If I change something in the return, there is no reminder to review this calculation. Is there a reason anyone knows as to why this calculation could not be automated or at least a warning to the user to review it if any changes are made to the return after the hand calculated number is entered... i.e. are there situations where inputs may need to be adjusted?
