Getting found on the web

I now have a business website for my Piano Instruction Studio. How do I get found on the web?
Will searching for Piano Lessons bring up my website as one of the options?
Sounds like you may need to do a Search Engine Optimization or subscribe to a good SEO product that will foot your site -- i.e., specific key words or phrases for your business like 'Piano Lessons' -- to receive more traffic and, ultimately, top page ranking. There's a lot of really good info available on the web on how to SEO yourself. (and if I could attach a file I to this answer, I'd send you what I have; if you email me at sales@doghilldogs.com, I'll email you what I have). Given what's involved in the SEO set-up, and the ongoing commitment to it, we decided to subscribe to one and chose Intuit's SEO product offered through its Homestead company https://www.homestead.com/. Good luck.
As Michael mentioned, SEO is the way to go for you, but you should definitely focus on your local market. For example use Piano Lessons Miami or Piano Lesson South Miami. Be as specific as you can. To get an idea of what you should be using for keywords, do a search in Google for the keywords you want to rank for and see what competition comes up. If you see your competition, you are in the right place and you want your site there as well.
To focus on your local market, make sure you are listed on Google Maps. I've written an article outlining how to put your site on Google maps at:

Best of luck to you!
Forget it!!! Go local!!! Host an open house inviting parents, etc in!!!! Peaple like people, when it comes to personal service such as yours word of mouth is # 1. I hated my piano teacher.... Guess what i dont know how to play either.
