open a compagny file

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2009

When trying to open a company file after upgrated my QB version from 2005 to 2009, I receive this message : QB was unable to reset the database service. Error codes -6109, 1069

Reinstall QB 2009 again and try to open the file again. Sometimes things like this just need to have QB reinstalled. Make sure you have closed out of all programs before reinstalling QB.
