A flowchart is simply the path an object takes from point 'A' to point 'B'.

An example could be to use your landing page as point 'A' and the desired outcome as point 'B'. Suppose you are selling socks. Your main landing page might be 'Sport Socks'. Now envision a tree lying on its side. 'Sport Socks' would be the trunk and where each visitor goes from there would be a branch. Make your order page point 'B'.

This info can be very valuable in optimizing your site.

Remember to keep your flowcharts simple. It is the data they portray and not the design that is important.

To your success,

I personally use Visio to prepare flowcharts, but with a little web research you can probably find something cheaper and simpler for what you are trying to do. Deni
